I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. While the rooms were quite spacious and beautifully decorated, being directly above the reception area made it a bit noisy late at night when diners were leaving. The service was top-notch, with friendly and accommodating staff especially in the bar and restaurant. The location was superb, right on the beach near charming local pub/restaurants and offering stunning views across the estuary to Appledore. The dining experience, although good in quality, could be improved by giving guests more time before taking cooked food orders. Overall, a delightful stay with excellent service and a gorgeous location.

The rooms were stunning in decor with pale grey leather armchairs, white bed linen, and solid oak furniture. However, they were a bit noisy at night due to their proximity to the reception area.

I had an amazing time at the hotel, especially with the breathtaking sea view from my room. The service was top-notch, and the location was absolutely idyllic. However, the dining options were a bit limited. Overall, a great place to stay!

My sea view room was very nice indeed, with an unrivaled view of the estuary. The newly refurbished Grill Room, which used to be a formal dining room, left a lot to be desired.

I had a wonderful stay at the Commodore! The rooms offered a clear view of the river estuary and the village Appledore, making my experience truly enjoyable. However, the size of the room and the bed were a bit small for my liking. The outside terrace with a beautiful estuary view was a definite highlight.
